I think the Russian people should know that more young Russian men have been killed in Ukraine than were killed in WWII of the Americans in both theaters. Americans in Asia and Europe lost around 420,000 people and the Russians have already exceeded this in Ukraine. It is a big number.

It's funny but I thought Russia only made Ladas. My first car was a '69 VW beetle (used)...which I ran out of oil and seized the engine. Oops. Second car? '73 Jaguar XKE V-12 convertible. Loved that car. Back then, no catalytic converter. The Jag liked over 98 octane... gas guzzler but a rocket ship. I still miss it. Don't miss getting stuck on the side of the road, however. LOL.

I took my life in a suitcase and a bag and got away from Romania at age of 37, sick and tired of corruption and incompetence which made my future awful. My mother leaved at 47 after over 25 years into the education field at high level. If you want to have a career you need to kiss asses or master's ring of power in Romania.
